Stamping Grounds

I love to do activities with friends. There’s something almost therapeutic about moving your limbs as you talk things out. And that process isn’t just around hiking or taking walks. It can be crafting and creation related too. It’s fun to make things with your hands and to learn a new art or craft. It can be ultra rewarding to do it in a group as well.

Research shows that couples that try new things together have a more rewarding relationship than couples that don’t try new things routinely. The same is true of friendship. Our brain neurons are all firing together as we learn a new craft. Those endorphin rush as we journey down the path of creativity together is pretty great.

The Bramble Berry studio recently spent some time making stamps together. There were differing levels of artistic prowess, but it was still an enjoyable thing for us all (even me … the least talented of this group).
