What's Going On at Work?

So much has been happening at Bramble Berry, and it’s all exciting. The biggest thing is that we moved Soap Queen TV and our blog kitchen to a new dedicated space that’s solely about creativity, projects, and content. Between the rigorous testing process at Bramble Berry and all of the goodness on SoapQueen, SoapQueenTV and social media, we were running short on space. So, we solved it and voila! New test kitchen, new video studio, and new photography space.

It’s been great because I’ve been jonesing to make more soap, candles and cheese, to ferment some sauerkraut and kimchi, to make some bitters, and to culture some more kombucha.

My long suffering husband has declared our kitchen at home off limits to anything but kiddo crafts. I can’t say I blame him—at one point last year, I had 5 gallons of sauerkraut, 2 gallons of kefir, 1 gallon of kombucha, a fresh batch of yogurt and 16 ounces of feta cheese going all at once. Our kitchen barely had any room to actually cook! So, it’s exciting to have this larger space to dedicate to the journey of creativity.

The warehouse is working hard to get all of the holiday orders out, and we’re winning the battle. It’s exciting to see how many new soapmakers and kitchen chemists are entering their creative journeys to DIY soaps, lotions, and more. I can’t wait to see the holiday projects come rolling in over social. Be sure to tag them #brambleon, so we can all join in.
